Nutrition Lecture Series: Protein
Lecture 3: Proteins
This lecture exams the ancient myth that high amounts of protein consumption is essential for good health. Where does it come from and why is it so persistently repeated? After clarifying the facts, it takes a closer look on amino acids, the building blocks of protein. The concept of complementing amino acids is explained, and the digestive process examined. Showing the production cycle of uric acid, and the negative side-effects of excessive protein consumption is explored. After looking into problems of meat consumption the presentation closes with presenting Gods ideal plan of a plant-based diet, as a gift from Eden.
